I like to think of my work as a rhythmic interplay between texture, color, form, and space.
In doing so, the emotional integrity of the painting aligns with my intent and the viewer’s reactions. My paintings are emotionally driven and fluctuate between abstract expressionism and delicate impressionistic realism. I use color, exaggeration, distortion, and some primitivism in my work. Most of my paintings have a combination of styles, best described as an improvisation, if you will.
