ABOUT THE ARTIST
“I like to think of my work as a rhythmic interplay between texture, color, form and space. In doing so, the emotional integrity of the painting aligns with my intent and the viewer’s reactions. My paintings are emotionally driven and fluctuate between abstract expressionism to delicate impressionistic realism. I use color, exaggeration, distortion, and some primitivism in my work. Most of my paintings have a combination of styles, best described as an improvisation, if you will…”
Born in New York and raised in Connecticut, Anne is the daughter of a jazz drummer and the granddaughter of a Radio City Music Hall conductor. As such, she was able to spend many inspiring hours behind the scenes of that amazing world. Art and music have always been at the forefront of her academic and creative endeavors.
This award winning artist’s work has been showcased on William Sonoma, UGallery, and was chosen for the “This Old House” Cottage Grand Opening at The Homestead at Cloudland Station in Chickamauga, Georgia.
Her art studio is in Savannah, Georgia.
